LUCA ANDREONI

Andreoni Le mie notti sono più belle dei vostri giorni 2016

Among the most prolific and representative authors of his generation in Italy, the work of Luca Andreoni (1961) is recognized and respected by the entire italian contemporary photography community.
His early involvement in the artistic field of landscape photography, sustained by a scrupulous and yet poetical research, has led him to the intense expressions of the strong symbolic values that characterize his work, which played a crucial role in the transition between what we consider today as classic research on landscape issues, and the most up-to-date experiments.
His rigorous work has gained attention in the world of photography and contemporary art and many prestigious institutions have requested his participation in important exhibitions and publications. His work has been included in prominent collections, such as those owned by the Deutsche Bank, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and others.

Luca Andreoni is also among the most important and thoughtful professors of photography and the history of photography in the country, teaching for many prestigious italian institutions, and his courses have been pivotal for the latest generations of artists and photography scholars.
Since 2013 he has been Professor of Photography at the Accademia di Belle Arti G. Carrara, Bergamo
Since 2009 he has been Guest Professor at the Master in Photography and Visual Design at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milano.
Since 1990, he has been teaching at the Scuola di Specializzazione in Storia dell'Arte at the Università Cattolica, Milano, as a teacher of the "Laboratory of Art Photography".
He has held courses of Photography at Fondazione Fotografia, Modena, at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Bologna and at the Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli, Como.
He also taught in many workshops and has given lectures in public institutions such as the Politecnico, Milano, the Italian Institute of Culture, Warsaw, Fondazione Fotografia, Modena, and at photography festivals and art fairs.
